To be Successful

One main quality that a person needs to have to obtain success is being a hardworking individual. Hardworking individuals, who never stop trying no matter how dim the situation may seem, are usually the ones who success later in life. They are reluctant to give up on their dreams, because they know that everything comes together at the end of the road. They are commonly independent folks that are used to do things on their own; always trying to keep the pace of the situation as they frequently have or feel to have little, if any, back up whatsoever. “Success is a journey, not a destination. The doing is more important than the outcome” said Arthur Ashe, this is why hardworking people are commonly the ones to achieve success, because while they may focus in the result of their actions, what is important for them is the effort that they put to those actions.

What is success; is it happiness, money, cats?

To me, success is all about achieving your goals, but being successful can also be an abstract concept. To some people you can be successful at school if you graduate with honors or at work if you become CEO of a company, just like for some people you might be a failure if you didn't graduate university or if you are an unemployed. To many people money is important and to others happiness is what matters the most, but to achieve happiness you need to think of what matters to you and not others.

About a year ago they gave me a talk at college about how to and not to choose your career, something that I had a difficult time at, and one of the things that it was said was that the best you could do was study what you loved and you would not work a day in your life. So I guess that getting paid for doing what you love to do is pretty much what I would call being successful. To be able to have the work of your dreams might not be easy and many people will meet first failure than success, but it all comes to how you deal with it, if you keep trying or if you give up, but something is for sure, giving up won't led you to success and neither will it make you happy. You just need to remember that there's always a rainbow at the end of the road :D

Hi!

So here I am (again), this time I will tell you what I do to expand my English vocabulary, the answer is simple: I read and read and write and read in English! To me and to anyone who enjoys this activity, is very easy, but I know that not everyone likes to read. To these people I can say that they haven't found yet their ideal "book", it doesn't need to be a long novel or a scientific journal, comic books and manga are also awesome! You can also try books with CD's and listen while reading, it will help you expand both your writing&reading and spiking skills. But if you still find yourself without a enjoyable reading material, you might as well watch movies (if with subtitles, then English subtitles).
http://www.bookrix.com/download-free-ebooks.html you can start with this!
Last Wednesday I gave you a small introduction about who I am, today I will tell you more about my furry babies!
I have six furry babies; four cats (Cuxum, Tuzo, Dash and Flavia) and two dogs (Archibaldo and Benito), five of them were rescued from the street, and one of them (Tuzito) was born in my house.

This is Cuxum (a word in maya), she's a lady and she is six years old.

This is Archibaldo and he is five.

Benito is four years old.

Flavia, the craziest and youngest of my cats is two years old.

Tuzito named after her mother, is three.

And Dash who is also three.
